At AREA.lab he will be responsible for teaching art criticism and drafting critical texts, as well as organizing studio visits and reviewing projects.
Joan Rombaldi
curator
Art curator and cultural planner. Specialized in contemporary Latin American art.
Graduated in architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin and specialized in curating contemporary art at the IED.
Since 2017 he has managed the curatorial and artistic collective TDF.collective, with which he produces a rich cultural and educational offer.
He collaborates with various realities in Italy and abroad, including Brazil, Spain and Portugal.
For AREA.lab he will teach curating and communication.
Elisabetta Ajani
Exhibit Designer and Scenographer
Currently holder of the Chair of Scenography, Cinematography and Digital Technologies, with master in Rome and Paris.
She carries out the work of set and costume designer, dealing in particular with sustainable exhibition design and preparation, made with recycled materials in respect of the environment, in addition to the construction supervision of film sets and virtual-sets with specialization in reconstruction in style._cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_
He conducts international internships, publishes articles and sector studies and is a consultant and location manager for Film Commission Torino Piemonte since 2000.
He began his career on international and national sets very early, collaborating with directors such as Dario Argento, Christian Duguay, Peter Greenaway, Carlo Lizzani and many others. Among his most interesting sets are: “The Emperor's New Clothes”, directed by Alan Taylor, “Maria Josè The Last Queen” directed by Carlo Lizzani.
He prefers projects with young emerging directors, among the latest we mention "Unfolded" della director Cristina Picchi winner of many awards including David di Donatello and Biennale di Venice.
For AREA.lab he will take care of the workshops related to setting up an eco-sustainable exhibition.

Teatro Selvatico is aassociation that exists to artistically translate the instinctive, animal and wild aspects of men. It exists to give space to the nature of being. The intention is to create a solid community that is ready to implement new ideas and projects, raise the bar of the word impossible and build a human network to feed each other.
Teatro Selvatico wants to be constancy to create a better world.
It currently has over 10,000 members thanks to the events and workshops they organize around Italy and abroad.
For AREA.lab he will take care of presenting the associationist situation at the moment in Italy and together with the students he will carry out a particular wild workshop :)

APS is an association of cultural professionals specialized in different sectors - planning, production, communication - united by a common mission: to encourage the involvement and participation of the new generations in the cultural offer of the territory, contributing to their growth as active individuals and managers within the company. This mission is carried forward through innovative cultural projects, formats and services aimed at under 30s and having as a figure the co-planning of activities and the co-creation of contents by the public involved, in collaboration with local bodies and institutions.
